Reserve Your Seat Todayby Mac Smith
We received an interesting call on Wednesday from a woman named Debbie who, at first, seemed a little frustrated. Let's take a look at how the conversation went:
Debbie: | "Who are your distributors?" |
DPS Rep: | "We mostly sell direct." |
Debbie: | "You manufacture AND distribute your own products?" |
DPS Rep: | "Yes, we sometimes work with distributors as well, if that's what the end user prefers. However, we find it usually works out a lot better when we send products straight to the end user." |
Debbie: | "I had no idea. Usually it's impossible to talk to manufacturers unless you're a master distributor. So, I can ask you some questions?" |
DPS Rep: | "Absolutely." |
When she found out that we manufacture and distribute our own products from our headquarters in Fresno, CA, Debbie was surprised. She said that it was a nice change from her typical conversations with manufacturers when trying to make a purchase. In fact, she said it was "the best manufacturing call she's ever had." We were able to answer all her questions, and even got a quote to her the very same day.
Typical Supply Chain Issues
There are a few different reasons that Debbie is typically with frustrated when making calls to manufacturers. Let's say you've just placed a purchase order with a company, and you are solely responsible for seeing it through:
The number of problems that could potentially occur with this typical supply method are innumerable. How can you be guaranteed quality products when the company you're working with doesn't make it themselves? Can they answer questions, simple or complex, that you have during each step of the process? There shouldn't be a doubt in your mind that the company you order products that you depend on from can fulfill these basic expectations.
The DPS Solution
There is a simple way to avoid the confusion and headache of the typical supply chain: Work with a company that does everything themselves. Engineering, manufacturing, testing, and distributing the network alarm monitoring services we provide ourselves makes every single step easier and less painful for you.
"DPS Telecom's service is great. They are always there when I have a question or need..."
"I appreciate the same day product request DPS was able to accommodate. It's rare to find a company in today's times that will go the extra mile for its customers, from sales, to production, to tech support, job well done."
There are no cracks to fall through when you choose a manufacturer that works directly with you. Don't add to your stress or waste time with a company that doesn't focus on what you need.
