Merry Christmas from DPS!!!

Our engineers have been very busy this holiday season. The first thing under the tree is SNMP v3 for the NetGuardian G5. The G5 was created to provide the processing and memory resources to add all sorts of new functionality. The additional security of SNMP v3 is something our clients have been asking for, so we made sure it was at the top of the NetGuardian G5 implementation list.

Our engineers also created a 64-point variant of the NetGuardian 832A G5. Why you ask? Because we are all about finding perfect-fit solutions for our clients. For those of you that were around before the NetGuardian days, the KDA864 was the premier state-of-the-art alarm remote. The KDA is a widely deployed RTU, with the majority of the units produced still in service today. However, in the day of migration to LAN, we wanted to be able to provide a superset of capacity in the same rack space. For new deployments, we now provide an alternative to purchasing both a NetGuardian and a 48-point expansion when all you need is 64 points. Last month, we had our first T/Mon Users Group. I'd like to thank all the attendees again. The insights gained from this meeting provided us with a very clear product direction. All other T/Mon users with maintenance agreements will clearly benefit from the fruit of this group. All T/Mon users will also be glad to know we have already picked a date for the next Users Group, so be sure to fill out all the office request paperwork. Like this year, the Users Group will meet after a factory training (whose seats will be limited). So, if you want to attend both, sign up fast!

I'd like to thank all of you who placed your end-of-year orders early. This enabled our Production Department to handle the seasonal rush in a very systematic manner.

2007 has been a great year for DPS, thanks in no small part to our client base. We'll talk more about that in January.

Have a very safe and fun-filled holiday!
