"Is Your Network Prepared For The Worst? Let T/Mon Take Charge Of Your Disaster Recovery Plan..."

Redundant Backup Monitoring
Redundant Backup Monitoring Can
Save Your Network During a Disaster...

Is your alarm monitoring system "prepared for the worst"? What would happen if some catastrophic event completely took your NOC offline? Power can fail, communication lines can go down, and fires, earthquakes, and extreme weather can impact the NOC building itself. With your growing network spreading out over time, you need a backup plan to maintain that essential visibility.

What if there was a way to make sure your network was still up and running during a disaster? Picture a backup master that would completely take over in case of a primary master site failure. Imagine if this LAN-based, geodiverse backup could still provide you with the alarms and notifications you need - even from across the globe.

Redundant backup monitoring with the T/Mon NOC provides this disaster-recovery capability. When two T/Mon NOC units are deployed in your network, one can be assigned to be a secondary backup. The T/MON NRI software module keeps both masters in sync, so the backup is always up-to-date. If the primary T/Mon on site goes down, the backup master almost instantly takes over. The backup master handles monitoring until primary comes back online, then sends the primary an update. Virtually no time, visibility, or databasing capabilities have to be sacrificed!

Key Advantages of NRI on the T/Mon NOC:

  • Automatic synchronization between a primary and secondary T/Mon NOC system, regardless of location or distance apart
  • No overlapping of alarms, even after the primary T/Mon NOC resumes monitoring
  • Stores up to 100,000 entries for data synchronization between NOCs
  • Fail-over T/Mon provides an up-to-the-minute picture of alarm events
  • Secondary T/Mon takes over monitoring in case of primary failure
  • NRI can be retrofitted on existing primary/secondary system
