We'll start by looking in the box. You'll see two main items:
To start with, you'll have a bag of cables. This includes a USB A-to-B serial cable, an Ethernet cable, and a USB that has your user manual and other documentation.
You'll also get rack ears for mounting the unit into a rack (19-inch or 23-inch, 1RU).
Your setup kit also includes a bag of hardware here. You'll get some screws for mounting the unit into the rack, you'll got some fuses, and you'll get pluggable DC power connectors (RIA, locking RIA, WAGO, etc.).
Lastly, you have a paper that explains "Where's the User Manual?" You'll find it in two places:
The RTU in this example shipping box is the TempDefender G2. Many different NetGuardian and other RTUs are available to cover different capacity requirements.
