The D-Wire Vibration sensor is the perfect option if you want to monitor any piece of equipment that vibrates when running. It's a good way to determine on/off statuses but can also be used to detect when an intruder or animal is attempting to break into a cabinet.
Do you have a device that normally vibrates when it's running, such as a generator? Don't leave it unmonitored any longer.
When mounted to your device, the D-Wire Vibration detects the presence of vibration. So this is a good way to know if your important equipment is running.
The Vibration sensor auto-calibrates when installed with configurable alarm thresholds to indicate when vibration is detected. When it doesn't detect vibration, your NetGuardian that is connected to your sensor will immediately notify you. This way, you'll know that there's a problem going on with the device and you'll need to take corrective actions.
Also - to increase the capacity of your NetGuardian even more - you can daisy chain one or more D-Wires from your Vibration sensor.
