Reserve Your Seat TodayThe AlphaMax High-Speed 82A and 82S are compact dial-up alarm remotes. It is best suited for smaller applications functioning as a standalone remote unit. However, no matter how small a remote site may be, proactive network operations depends on whether these sites are monitored.
Through its dial-up connectivity, the AlphaMax communicates to an alphanumeric pager or a text enabled cell phone. It can also be configured to forward its alarm data to a T/Mon, giving you centralized notification.
The AlphaMax has been put to use in many applications by a wide range of clients. It has been used to monitor door alarms, tower lights, generator run, crossing gates, temperatures, and other equipment failures. With its 2 relays, the AlphaMax can control your remote equipment. Activating generators, security lights, pump units, gates, door locks and other needed equipment.
With DTMF functionality you are able to dial into the AlphaMax, acknowledge alarms, control remote equipment and get site status notifications all from a touch-tone phone or cell phone. This can save considerable amounts of windshield time by operating controls conveniently from your desk or cell phone.
You may optionally configure an AlphaMax to page you with routine periodic status reports, which tells you the current state of all alarms and relays. These reports are sent at a programmable interval, from once every 15 minutes to once every 10 days, and may be individually enabled or disabled for each pager you have defined.
Using T/Alpha software for Windows, configuration of the AlphaMax is a snap. You can assign detailed alarm point descriptions, set alarm qualification times before alarms are issued, operate remote equipment and configure just about every aspect of the unit.
The serial port interface on the AlphaMax 82S allows you to reach through to a serial device on your network. This is great for when you only have a single POTS line that you want to use for both alarm reporting and reach through operations.
